PHP

PHP (originally Personal Home Page Tools) is an open source, server-side, cross platform, HTML embedded web scripting language allowing you to create dynamic web pages. PHP is used in place of ASP. PHP-enabled web pages are treated just like regular HTML pages and you can create and edit them the same way you normally create regular HTML pages. PHP filename extensions - .php/.php3/.phtml
